set-topic-attributes
--topic-arn <value>
--attribute-name <value>
[--attribute-value <value>]
[--cli-input-json | --cli-input-yaml]
[--generate-cli-skeleton <value>]
[--cli-auto-prompt <value>]
--topic-arn
(string)
The ARN of the topic to modify.
--attribute-name
(string)
A map of attributes with their corresponding values.
The following lists the names, descriptions, and values of the special request parameters that the
SetTopicAttributes
action uses:
DeliveryPolicy
– The policy that defines how Amazon SNS retries failed deliveries to HTTP/S endpoints.
DisplayName
– The display name to use for a topic with SMS subscriptions.
Policy
– The policy that defines who can access your topic. By default, only the topic owner can publish or subscribe to the topic. The following attribute applies only to server-side-encryption :
KmsMasterKeyId
– The ID of an AWS-managed customer master key (CMK) for Amazon SNS or a custom CMK. For more information, see Key Terms . For more examples, see KeyId in the AWS Key Management Service API Reference .The following attribute applies only to FIFO topics:
ContentBasedDeduplication
– Enables content-based deduplication. Amazon SNS uses a SHA-256 hash to generate theMessageDeduplicationId
using the body of the message (but not the attributes of the message). When
ContentBasedDeduplication
is in effect, messages with identical content sent within the deduplication interval are treated as duplicates and only one copy of the message is delivered. If the queue has
ContentBasedDeduplication
set, yourMessageDeduplicationId
overrides the generated one.
--attribute-value
(string)
The new value for the attribute.
--cli-input-json
| --cli-input-yaml
(string)
Reads arguments from the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by --generate-cli-skeleton
. If other arguments are provided on the command line, those values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally. This may not be specified along with --cli-input-yaml
.
--generate-cli-skeleton
(string)
Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value input
, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for --cli-input-json
. Similarly, if provided yaml-input
it will print a sample input YAML that can be used with --cli-input-yaml
. If provided with the value output
, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command.
--cli-auto-prompt
(boolean)
Automatically prompt for CLI input parameters.
See ‘aws help’ for descriptions of global parameters.
