--first-snapshot-id
(string)
The ID of the first snapshot to use for the comparison.
Warning
The
FirstSnapshotID
parameter must be specified with aSecondSnapshotId
parameter; otherwise, an error occurs.
--second-snapshot-id
(string)
The ID of the second snapshot to use for the comparison.
Warning
The
SecondSnapshotId
parameter must be specified with aFirstSnapshotID
parameter; otherwise, an error occurs.
--next-token
(string)
The token to request the next page of results.
--max-results
(integer)
The number of results to return.
--starting-block-index
(integer)
The block index from which the comparison should start.
The list in the response will start from this block index or the next valid block index in the snapshots.
--cli-input-json
| --cli-input-yaml
(string)
Reads arguments from the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by --generate-cli-skeleton
. If other arguments are provided on the command line, those values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally. This may not be specified along with --cli-input-yaml
.
--generate-cli-skeleton
(string)
Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value input
, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for --cli-input-json
. Similarly, if provided yaml-input
it will print a sample input YAML that can be used with --cli-input-yaml
. If provided with the value output
, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command.
See ‘aws help’ for descriptions of global parameters.

BlockIndex -> (integer)
The block index.
FirstBlockToken -> (string)
The block token for the block index of the
FirstSnapshotId
specified in theListChangedBlocks
operation. This value is absent if the first snapshot does not have the changed block that is on the second snapshot.SecondBlockToken -> (string)
The block token for the block index of the
SecondSnapshotId
specified in theListChangedBlocks
operation.
ExpiryTime -> (timestamp)
The time when the
BlockToken
expires.
VolumeSize -> (long)
The size of the volume in GB.
BlockSize -> (integer)
The size of the blocks in the snapshot, in bytes.
