Description

Retrieves information about a specific configuration version.

Options

--application-id (string)

The application ID.

--configuration-profile-id (string)

The configuration profile ID.

--version-number (integer)

The version.

outfile (string) Filename where the content will be saved

To retreive hosted configuration details

The following get-hosted-configuration-version example retrieves the configuration details of the AWS AppConfig hosted configuration.

aws appconfig get-hosted-configuration-version \
    --application-id 339ohji \
    --configuration-profile-id ur8hx2f \
    --version-number 1 \
    hosted-configuration-version-output

Contents of hosted-configuration-version-output:

Output

ApplicationId -> (string)

The application ID.

ConfigurationProfileId -> (string)

The configuration profile ID.

VersionNumber -> (integer)

The configuration version.

Description -> (string)

A description of the configuration.

Content -> (blob)

The content of the configuration or the configuration data.

ContentType -> (string)

A standard MIME type describing the format of the configuration content. For more information, see Content-Type .
