wait¶
Description¶
Wait until a particular condition is satisfied. Each subcommand polls an API until the listed requirement is met.

Unless otherwise stated, all examples have unix-like quotation rules. These examples will need to be adapted to your terminal’s quoting rules. See Using quotation marks with strings in the AWS CLI User Guide .
The following command waits until a cluster with the cluster ID j-3SD91U2E1L2QX is up and running:
aws emr wait cluster-running --cluster-id j-3SD91U2E1L2QX
